We have chosen 2 online newspapers – Sin Chew Daily and The Star Online, to compare the similarities and differences between the same news published in both newspapers’ website. The similarity in terms of media is that both are using online journalism, which means that both journalists and readers have more flexibility in terms of publishing and accessibility towards the articles as well as to be able to interact and to share the news with their friends and families through the “Share” function in Facebook.

They have also given impact and proximity effect, especially on the students who will be getting their loans next year and causing worries among the students who are under PTPTN loans now.
