Passionately You - Don't Duck It

An awareness campaign to educate people about the breast and cervical cancer, “Don’t Duck It” organized by Assunta Hospital, Jaya One, PJ Live Arts and Asia Assistance will be held on 22 October 2011, from 12pm to 10pm at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya.

In Malaysia, Breast and Cervical cancer is number one killer disease for women. However, a lot of the females do not really understand the diseases and the way to detect, the actions to take and how to deal with the symptoms. Therefore, the campaign is held to increase the awareness among the public, especially female aged from 18 years old to 45 years old. Besides that, the campaign also a path to fund raising for Assunta Hospital Foundation’s Social Welfare Fund which provides subsidized or free-of charge treatments to the patients whose from low income group.

Don’t Duck It” campaign will be filled with interesting activities such as Quacky Kart Race, Cheerleading Performance, DJ Quiz, Game Stalls and so on which are available for families and friends for fund raising purpose. As well, Assunta Hospital will conduct FREE breast examination and on-site vaccination at a special promo price for women. They will also briefing the women the way of breast checking so that they can check themselves periodically at home.

This event is open to the public and you can join it by paying only RM5 per person. Nevertheless, everyone have chance to win awesome prizes like 42” LED TV (1st Prize), Macbook Air (2nd Prize), Holiday/Travel voucher (3rd Prize), iPad 2 (4th Prize), Sony PlayStation 3 (5th Prize) and many more cash vouchers through Raffles draw.
