Beautiful Gate Foundation for The Disabled as the event coordinator is going to organize an event which fall on the end of November 2011 together with other joint coordinator that focusing on Accessible Tourism for the Disabled and Elderly. Based on the research, there are a large number of disabled populations which in total of 205.7million within the region. They are the potential travelers which can boost up the tourism’s market. The main objective of this exhibition is to telling and creates awareness to the society towards Accessible Tourism and Barrier-free Society.
This event is to promote the accessible tour packages for the disabled and elderly people to let them understand that they are actually could also make their travel dream come true. In addition, Barrier-free Society means that every facilities, buildings, transportation vehicles and more are specially design for the disabled or people with physically disadvantages. This is a good opportunity to let the disabled and elderly to understand that they will not have the problems when travelling, because everything that included in the accessible tour packages is barrier free and accessible activities that suit them. Other than promoting accessible tour packages, there are a lot of activities will be going on in this event, such as disabled group dance contest disabled singing contest and others.
Organizers will be setting up booths that are relating to the accessible transportation, sports, medical aids and more. The “Accessible Tourism Promotes National Development” exhibition will be held at Sunway Pyramid on 26 and 27 November, 2011. The event is open to public, so everyone is welcome to join this Tourism for All exhibitions which could understand more about accessible tourism.
